Red Cow Inn

Close to pen y fan we chose to stop here for post hike meal and it ticked all the boxes. Easy to find, easy to park and had lamb on the menu. Staff were nice and friendly the food came out quick and didn’t disappoint chips were great we were both happy with our selection and for me perfect to start my 5hr drive home.

Came here with our local pal, Pauline, for lunch on Friday. Had the best Faggots & chips Ive ever eaten!! Really delicious. Fabulous atmosphere, cosy with an inviting fire. great service, friendly & a perfect local. My friend is very lucky to have this on her doorstep! I’m quite envious

I go to the Red Cow every week for the pub quiz. The pub is cosy and Darren is a great host. The homemade chips are highly recommended. If you're in the area, make a point of popping in to say hello. You'll get a very warm welcome.

We arrived at a super busy time. Seventeen cyclists had just arrived. Staff were super chilled, friendly, and attentive. Great atmosphere. Really good food, loved the chips. Lovely pub. Love monkey on tap was a very nice pint.

The lasagne was really good and portions very generous for what your paying. Service was friendly and quick. Cost local pub atmosphere. Would definitely pop in again when in the area.

I cannot stress how simply perfect this meal was. My girlfriend and I went to sample the vegan options and were entirely blown away by the tastes on offer. I had the vegan chilli and she the vegan shepherd's pie although hers was the triumphant winner of the comparison. The chips were homemade and delicious invoking the same enjoyment of a child first having home made chips with the vegan shepherd's pie literally causing me to pause and appreciate the flavour profile. The staff were kind and welcoming, the vibes were immaculate and I sincerely wish it was local to me and I could return as a regular, this was an outstanding meal I shall come to think about often. Thank you.

Nice reception on arrival and then to be seated near the open log fire so that was a good start. The food arrived and all four of us said we’d definitely come back for more. A great little pub with a lovely atmosphere .

Lovely 300 year old pub which has bucketloads of charm and a wonderful atmosphere. I booked a table for 4 and there was plenty of parking when we arrived at noon on a weekday. The staff were very attentive as my Mam in Law was in a wheelchair, and my Dad in Law had a rollator. The pub was busy but we were well cared for and everyone, including the people who helped with the wheelchair, were great. The meals were also delicious and we didn't have to wait very long for them. It was our first time but we would definitely visit this pub again, and will recommend it to friends.
